In order to handle display fireworks, and in accordance with Natural Resources Canada, Explosives Regulatory Division regulations, you must first attend the “Display Fireworks Safety and Legal Awareness Course”

If you, or members of your organization (e.g. Fire Department) are interested in attending one of these courses please email your details to us on the form below. We can provide a course at your own location.
If you intend to work on displays and receive a valid licence to enable you to work on fireworks displays the fee is $150.00 payable by cash or cheque.NOTE: if you work exclusively for David Whysall International Fireworks this fee will be paid by the company and deducted from your first pay
If you wish to attend “for information only” the course is FREE and this includes the Display Fireworks Manual.
(Please note that “Authority Having Jurisdiction licences” are no longer issued by Explosives Regulatory Division, so if you are from an organization that is responsible for issuing permits for fireworks displays, e.g. Fire Departments, this course will be useful).
Supplied: Display Fireworks Manual
Required: Completed Registration Form; a head and shoulders photograph against a light-coloured background OR you can send an electronic version by email to firstname.lastname@example.org OR we can take your photo at the course.
