First stop
is the Government of Canada's site; Natural Resources Canada, Explosives
Regulatory Division (ERD). This is the regulatory and licencing division
of the Canadian government. All persons
wishing to become a Fireworks Supervisor, or a Pyrotechnician must first
attend a course given by ERD and must subsequently meet basic apprenticeship
requirements within the timeframe to become fully certified. For more
details, the course schedule and costs involved can be found on their web site. Here is the
latest information regarding
Fireworks Display courses in Ontario:
If you would
like to attend this course and, once qualified, work for us, please contact
us. *Note: Off site links
will open in a new window. Close the new window to return to this site. In order to
have a fireworks display, you must meet certain requirements, including an Application
for Event Approval, which must be signed by the local Authority Having
Jurisdiction (usually the fire chief); and must meet your local by-laws
(check with your local municipality). And finally,
to have our crew do the fireworks for your event, contact us. |
