From here you can access various sources of information pertaining to fireworks regulations in Canada.

First stop is the Government of Canada's site; Natural Resources Canada, Explosives Regulatory Division (ERD). This is the regulatory and licencing division of the Canadian government.

All persons wishing to become a Fireworks Supervisor, or a Pyrotechnician must first attend a course given by ERD and must subsequently meet basic apprenticeship requirements within the timeframe to become fully certified. For more details, the course schedule and costs involved can be found on their web site.
